Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mogu mobile application (the “App”) operated by Mogu (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Mogu is a family chores tracker. Parents create chores and rewards. Children complete chores to earn in-app coins and redeem them for real-world rewards chosen by their family. Each child has a virtual pet that grows as they complete chores.

In-app coins have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, transferred, traded, or redeemed for cash. They exist only inside your family’s account.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, to create a parent account.
• The parent who creates the family is the account owner. They are responsible for all activity that happens inside their family.
• Children do not create their own accounts. The account owner adds child profiles on behalf of their children.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

You agree not to use the App to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten or harm any other person, including children.
• Upload illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or another family’s data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s normal operation.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the App, including chore titles, reward names, profile names and photos. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit and display that content solely as necessary to operate the App for you and your family.

You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload photos or text that you do not have the right to share, or that depict minors in any inappropriate way.

Your privacy is important to us. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App, or any feature, at any time, with or without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim — which, for a free app, is zero.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
